| Qualification Requirements | – Master’s degree (first division) in Translation Studies from a University recognized by Higher Education Commission; OR – Master’s degree (second division) in English with specialization in translation from a University recognized by Higher Education Commission; OR – Graduate (second division) from a University recognized by Higher Education Commission with diploma in Translation (at least six months) from English to Urdu from an institute or University recognized by Higher Education Commission and two years’ practical experience of translation from English to Urdu. Experience in private entities shall be accepted if such entity is registered with SECP, Registrar of Firms, or any other Regularity Authority. Only post-qualification experience will be accepted. |

| Interview | – Psychological Test & Viva Voce: 100 Marks Grand Total: 300 Marks Note: A candidate shall have to obtain 40% marks in each paper and 50% marks in the aggregate to qualify for the interview. Thereafter, a candidate shall also secure 50% marks in the interview to be eligible for the final merit list of successful candidates. Negative marking shall be made, and 0.25 marks shall be deducted for each incorrect answer in the MCQ papers. |
