| Job Description | – Establish and lead the Market Implementation & Regulatory Affairs Department (MIRAD) under the CTBCM. Manage bilateral power purchase contracts, regulatory affairs, billing, settlement, demand forecasting, and transmission planning. Act as QESCO’s interface with the competitive trading bilateral contract market (CTBCM). |
| Qualification | – Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in Engineering, Finance/Accounting, Law, or Management Sciences from HEC recognized universities. A Master’s degree is preferred. |
| Experience | – Minimum 15 years of total experience, including 10 years in the Power Sector. Strong knowledge of technical, commercial, and financial aspects of utility business/power sector. Experience in regulatory affairs, contract management, and legal issues. Knowledge of competitive electricity markets is desirable. |
| Age Limit | Up to 55 years at the time of application |
| Nature of Employment | Purely contract-based for an initial 3-year period, subject to annual performance evaluation by the Board of Directors (BOD) QESCO. |
| Pay & Allowances | M-4 salary package (Rs. 404,650 per month inclusive of all allowances) as per QESCO MIRAD Service Rules. |
